Ferrovial Services in North America wins two new asset maintenance contracts in Florida. The Florida Department of Transportation awarded both the First Coast Expressway and Bold Landscape and Wildflower contracts to Ferrovial Services in January.

Under the five-year First Coast Expressway contract, Ferrovial Services will provide all routine maintenance activities associated with specified roadways, structures and facilities, drainage, roadside, vegetation and aesthetics, traffic services, incident management, and the Intelligent Transportation System.

Bold Landscape and Wildflower is a three-year, performance-based contract that requires the management, inspection and maintenance of all identified landscape and wildflower assets within FDOT’s rights-of-way.

By securing these contracts with FDOT’s Turnpike District, Ferrovial Services has contracts in seven of Florida’s eight districts, including more than 7,000 lane miles, 1,000 fixed bridges, and 43 bascule bridges.
