Timec team exceeds job expectations at Marathon Carson
Timec successfully completed a large and complex turnaround involving a Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit [FCC] and Steam Plant Block at the Marathon site in Carson, California.
The Timec team completed the turnaround three days ahead of schedule and with zero leaks and zero OSHA recordable injuries. This 40-day turnaround involved 165,152 man hours, 455 employees on site, 4,705 flanges worked and 98 exchangers pulled in the first seven days.
“I have been with Timec for over 25years and this turnaround will definitely rank as one of the best executed turnarounds I have ever been a part of,” says Site Manager James Havlicheck. “I could not be more proud of the group of men and women involved in this turnaround.”
Dave Mathews, president of Oil & Gas, and Donald Brown, president of T.R.S.C., extend their appreciation and thanks to the entire Marathon team.
