Ferrovial Services employees contribute gift cards to benefit local foster children.

In the spirit of giving, Vallejo office employees brought gift cards and cash to their office holiday party to benefit local foster children. The office generated $1,080 worth of gift cards for Volunteers of America’s foster family gift drive.

Dana Vincent, Timec manpower coordinator, personally delivered the gift cards during Volunteers of America’s annual Winter Wonderland event benefiting foster children.

“We were able to provide almost 100 teens with gift cards for the holidays,” says Dana. “Seeing the smiles we were able to put on so many children’s faces is what the holidays are all about.”

Winter Wonderland brightens the holidays for thousands of foster children every year with 10,000 square feet of holiday displays, games and Santa’s Toy Shop, complete with elves bearing gifts. This event is the grand result of the community coming together to make the holidays a joyous time for these children.

Event Coordinator Gesunda Royal-Shipp emailed the office a note of appreciation:

“Thanks for your amazingness (if I can create a new word)!!!! We truly appreciate all that you have done to make Winter Wonderland a special day for the foster youth…”

Dana says this year marks at least the 10th consecutive year the Vallejo office has participated in a holiday gift drive.
